A portable truck scale (weighbridge) was successfully installed for the Lebanese Agricultural Research Institute (LARI), with funding support from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). This modern, mobile weighing system enhances LARI’s capacity to accurately monitor and manage agricultural inputs and outputs, supporting more efficient logistics and data collection in the field. The installation reflects FAO’s commitment to strengthening agricultural infrastructure and supporting sustainable development in Lebanon.

A fixed truck scale (weighbridge) was installed at the recycling compost factory in Ras El Maten with funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) under project DAWERR. This installation enhances the facility’s operational efficiency by enabling accurate measurement of incoming organic waste and outgoing compost products. The project supports improved waste management practices and promotes sustainable agriculture in the region.
